Focus and Scope

Jurnal Sains Terapan dan Profesi Pendidikan (JSTPP) publishes research and studies on science learning and the strengthening of professional competence in education. Its central concern is how science is understood conceptually and, at the same time, applied in learning that responds to real needs, including the world of work and skills development. The journal provides a venue for research linking theory, teaching practice, and professional demands, so that its findings contribute directly to contextual, skills-oriented education.

Its scope covers science education, namely the teaching of physics, chemistry, biology, and other sciences in educational settings; mathematics education, including teaching strategies, learning models, and numeracy development; STEM and STEAM education integrating science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics; vocational and technical education based on skills relevant to the workplace; applied technology education in practice-based learning; project-based and practicum-based learning emphasising experimentation and real problem solving; environmental and sustainability education; professional competence development for teachers and education personnel; twenty-first century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication; and the integration of education with industry, including link-and-match implementation.

JSTPP accepts field research, development research, action research, and systematic literature reviews in Indonesian or English from teachers, lecturers, students, and education practitioners.
