Manuscript form

Manuscripts are written in correct Indonesian following current EYD and KBBI usage, or in English. The file is Microsoft Word, A4 paper, 2.5 cm margins on all four sides, body text in two columns with a 0.7 cm column gap, Times New Roman 11 pt, 1.15 line spacing.

Structure

Title, author names without academic titles together with affiliation and a working email address, abstract, keywords, introduction, method, results and discussion, conclusion and recommendations, and references.

The title is short and clear, at most fifteen words, without uncommon abbreviations. The abstract is a single paragraph of 150 to 250 words in both Indonesian and English, stating the problem, aim, method, and findings. Keywords number three to five terms in both languages, and each term is entered as a separate tag on the submission form.

Tables and figures

Table titles appear above the table and figure captions below the figure, both centred in Times New Roman 10 pt. Tables carry no vertical rules. Sources for tables and figures must be given.

References

At least fifteen references, at least 80 percent of them journal articles, and preferably published within the last five years. Citations and the reference list follow APA 7th edition and are ordered alphabetically. Every reference listed must be cited in the text, and every citation must appear in the list. Authors are encouraged to use Mendeley or Zotero.

Submission

Manuscripts are submitted through the JPSP online system after the author registers as a user. Authors attach a cover letter and a signed statement of originality. Manuscripts sent for review should be stripped of author names and affiliations, including in the Word file properties, since JPSP uses double-anonymous review.

Similarity screening

Every manuscript is checked with Turnitin. The threshold is 20 percent, with the reference list and direct quotations excluded. Details are on the Screening Plagiarism page.

Fees

JPSP charges no submission or article processing fees.
