Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has encouraged the transformation of digital learning in various educational institutions. One of the technologies widely implemented to support digital learning is the Learning Management System (LMS). This study aims to analyze and synthesize research findings related to the effectiveness of Learning Management Systems in improving the quality of digital learning. The study employed a literature review method by analyzing 24 scientific articles published between 2022 and 2025 obtained from national and international journals. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques through the stages of identification, selection, evaluation, and synthesis of relevant literature. The results indicate that LMS has a significant contribution to improving the quality of digital learning through increased accessibility, learning flexibility, student engagement, learning outcomes, digital literacy, and self-regulated learning. The findings also reveal that the effectiveness of LMS is influenced by system quality, perceived usefulness, ease of use, digital competence, and institutional support. Furthermore, LMS supports the implementation of adaptive learning by providing a more personalized, interactive, and learner-centered learning experience. Therefore, LMS can be considered a strategic component in supporting the sustainable transformation of digital education in the modern era.
